IT services solution provider DXC Technology Monday said it has made yet another acquisition, this time of Australia-based Bluleader.

Bluleader is a North Sydney, New South Wales, Australia-based systems integrator and consulting partner focused on customer relationship management, marketing automation, field service management and commerce solutions and works closely with Microsoft and SAP. The company specifically focuses on the customer experience across the different areas.

Bluleader won SAP's 2019 CX (customer experience) Partner of the Year award for the Australia-New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific-Japan areas, according to DXC.

With the acquisition, Bluleader will become parat of the DXC Oxygen business, which is the umbrella for DXC's SAP practice in Australia and New Zealand, said Stuart Dickinson, director and general manager of DXC Oxygen.

Prior to the acquisition, DXC Oxygen had 400 SAP consultants who are part of DXC's worldwide group of 7,000 SAP consultants, Dickinson told CRN. Bluleader brings to DXC Oxygen about 80 SAP CX specialists, he said.

“We think about solutions globally," he said. "This also strengthens our skills and capabilities around SAP customer solution sets. We had these before, but they're strengthened. And we get new skills related SAP S/4HANA."

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

DXC was founded through the April 2017 combination of CSC and HPE Enterprise Services.

The Oxygen brand is one of several brands unique to DXC's Australia and New Zealand business, and came from the acquisition by CSC of Australia-based UXC about a year before DXC was formed.

Bluleader is the latest in a long string of 17 acquisitions for DXC, both domestically and internationally, starting with its 2017 acquisition of Tribridge, a provider of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.

Prior to Bluleader, its most recent acquisitions include the August acquisition of Syscom, a leading ServiceNow channel partner; the January acquisition of Luxoft, a 13,000-person digital consultancy in Switzerland; and the January acquisition of EG, a Danish provider of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.

DXC in November purchased two ServiceNow partners, TESM and BusinessNow, to beef up its growing ServiceNow practice.

The company in October acquired argodesign, an Austin, Texas-based design studio and consultancy.

In September, it acquired leading Australia-based Salesforce integrator System Partners.

DXC also is no stranger to spinning off parts of its business. The company in March 2018 merged its existing U.S. government business with federal government consultancy Vencore and background investigation service provider KeyPoint to form a new pure-play U.S. government provider called Perspecta.
